MOGAN CORNEBERT

   Exploration, experimentation, creativity. A few words to try to define the French drummer Mogan Cornebert. In love with acoustic and electronic music, he develops his own sound and his very personal and original playing through numerous collaborations with artists from different musical horizons, touring around Europe, America, Africa and Asia, on stage and studio, according to his belief in the fact that music has no borders. 

   Sharing being at the heart of his ethos, pedagogy is an important part of Mogan’s activities. He’s been teaching at Jazz à Tours music school in Tours, France since 2010, and Pôle Supérieur de Musique de Poitiers.

   In parallel, he focuses on visual arts and especially drawing and silk-screening with his series « Equilibre[s]« , graphic, geometrical improvisations in connection with dance, music, bounce and imagination.
